Escentric 02
Escentric 02 is a unisex fragrance by Escentric Molecules. It combines ambroxan with vetiver and delicate muscone, the ingredient that gives musk its distinctive scent. Orris root, elderflower and hedione lend the fragrance its freshness. Its creator compares Escentric 02 to the aroma of gin and tonic. The crisp, bittersweet freshness develops into something warm, sexy and fleeting in the base.
The fragrance stands out for its blend of synthetic components and artistic recreations of ingredients, resulting in a perfectly balanced composition. Escentric 02 is the second pair of entirely synthetic fragrances launched by the brand, inspired by the key aromatic component of ambergris — ambroxan. It is a light fragrance with a radiant, fresh opening shaped by elderflower and hedione, followed by a pleasantly warm finish.
Escentric 02 was released in 2008 and created by perfumer Geza Schön.
