The third chapter of the Assoluto collection is dedicated to “Dubhe”, a star
in the mysterious constellation Ursa Major. At the heart of this remarkable
composition are slowly distilled, macerated and matured oils. Foremost among
them is white oud oil, also known as boyah, distilled from creamy,
white, uninfected wood surrounding the oud resin, accompanied by sandalwood
and a dark, pungent, princely oud oil distilled
from priceless pieces of agarwood. Alongside an austere pairing of rose
and saffron, the oud materials gleam like fragments of ancient gold unearthed
from the ground. An antiquated and slightly wild fragrance for true connoisseurs
of fine oud musks.
Dubhe Assoluto was launched in 2016 and created by perfumer
Paolo Terenzi.

Evelino focused his modest 16-square-meter laboratory on aromatic products and soon gained success. Tiziana Terenzi became known for its scented stones, catalytic diffusers, and other creations. In 2012, 44 years after its founding, the brand introduced its first perfume line, quickly followed by additional collections that captivated fragrance enthusiasts worldwide.
