Scentologia Ab.so.lute. is an oriental fougère fragrance for women and men, launched in 2021. The composition was created by perfumer Marzia Tissino. The fragrance opens with an unusual blend of hay, cypriol (nagarmotha), sage and bay leaf. Dry, grassy notes of hay mingle with earthy, woody cypriol and aromatic herbs, creating a distinctive, subtly smoky opening.
At the heart of the fragrance, sweet vanilla meets resinous gurjun balsam, guaiac wood and white flowers. The vanilla softens the dry, herbal character of the opening and lends a creamy warmth, while the balsam and guaiac wood add smoky, resinous depth. Ab.so.lute. thus creates an intriguing contrast of aromatic, balsamic, woody and delicately sweet notes.
The base of Scentologia Ab.so.lute. features distinctive tobacco, tonka bean, musk and amber. Tobacco brings warm, dry and subtly sweet depth, complemented by the creamy, almond-like nuances of tonka, while amber and musk leave a soft, sensual trail.
