Ramon Monegal Alhambra Oud is a fragrance for women and men launched in 2019. Perfumer Ramon Monegal created the composition. At its heart is agarwood (oud), which runs through every layer, pairing in turn with fruity, floral and modern woody accords. The result gives oud’s deep character a different accompaniment at each stage.
In the top notes, prominent oud meets juicy apple and elegant orange blossom, adding fruity and floral facets to its woody intensity. The heart of the fragrance brings agarwood to the fore again, this time alongside heady jasmine and classic rose. These rich floral notes contrast with the central oud accord.
In the base notes, oud returns for a third time, joining the amber-woody Ambroxan and smoky birch. This final layer emphasises the composition’s woody character and carries through the oud present from the opening. Ramon Monegal Alhambra Oud will particularly appeal to fans of unisex fragrances that place agarwood centre stage, combining it with fruit, flowers and smoky woody notes.
