Le Galion L'Astre is a women's perfume with an oriental-spicy character, launched in 2023. The fragrance composition was created by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. The scent brings together aromatic spices and herbs with a rich bouquet of white flowers and a warm balsamic base. Distinctive floral notes contrast here with vanilla, amber and a soft suede accord.
In the top notes, piquant ginger meets aromatic fennel, herbal thyme and spicy cardamom. The heart of the fragrance blooms with exotic ylang-ylang, pronounced Indian tuberose, heady jasmine and orange blossom. This rich combination of white flowers creates an intense centre to the composition while continuing the aromatic character of the opening.
In the base notes, sweetly resinous Tolu balsam blends with warm amber, sweet Madagascar vanilla and soft suede. This combination gives the perfume a balsamic, vanilla and gently leathery finish that balances the distinctive floral heart. Le Galion L'Astre will especially appeal to lovers of spicy floral fragrances with tuberose, ylang-ylang, vanilla and soft suede notes.
