Le Galion Iris is a women’s perfume with a floral, woody and musky character, launched in 2014. The fragrance composition was created by perfumer Thomas Fontaine. The scent places iris at the centre, surrounded by fresh citruses, delicate flowers and aromatic accords. The whole composition is rounded off by a restrained base of musk, cedar and amber, highlighting its elegant, powdery facet.
In the top notes, delicate mimosa blends with sparkling bergamot, citrusy citron and floral hibiscus. The heart of the fragrance belongs above all to powdery iris, accompanied by elegant lily, aromatic galbanum and classic rose. Together, these notes create a rich floral layer in which the powdery nuances of iris intertwine with both softer and more pronounced floral accords.
In the base of the fragrance, soft musk merges with dry cedarwood and warm amber. This trio creates a smooth woody-musky finish and allows the iris heart of the perfume to stand out. Le Galion Iris will especially appeal to lovers of elegant floral fragrances with iris, mimosa, rose and a delicate woody base.
