Haute Fragrance Company HFC Nirvanesque is a perfume for women and men with an oriental vanilla character, launched in 2022. The fragrance was created by perfumer Vincent Ricord. A rum accord meets pronounced resins and aromatic davana, followed by leather, a cashmere accord and incense. The composition closes with vanilla, tonka beans, benzoin and the deep woody tones of oud.
In the top notes, a rich rum accord meets resinous myrrh, warm labdanum and aromatic davana. The heart then reveals a prominent leather accord, soft cashmere notes and resinous olibanum, or frankincense. Together, they create a deep layer of leathery, balsamic and subtly smoky nuances.
In the base, sweet vanilla blends with aromatic tonka beans, balsamic benzoin, distinctive agarwood (oud) and soft musk. Vanilla and tonka beans soften the resinous and leathery notes, while oud lends woody depth to the finish. HFC Nirvanesque will particularly appeal to lovers of rich unisex perfumes that pair rum, resins and leather with vanilla, oud and musk.
