Haute Fragrance Company HFC Dancing Queen is a women’s perfume with an oriental floral character, launched in 2021. Perfumer Vincent Ricord created the composition, bringing juicy fruit notes together with a prominent bouquet of rose, peony and jasmine. The floral layers gradually give way to a contrasting base of musk, ambergris and agarwood.
In the top notes, fruity blackcurrant and sweet pear mingle with elegant rose, a recurring theme throughout the composition. The rose returns in the heart, this time alongside delicate peony and heady jasmine. Together, these flowers form a rich middle layer, set against the juicier fruit notes from the opening.
In the base, soft musk meets animalic, marine ambergris and deep agarwood (oud). The woody and musky notes provide a stronger counterpoint to the fruity floral heart, completing the composition’s oriental character. HFC Dancing Queen will appeal particularly to women who enjoy rose and jasmine paired with juicy fruit and a deeper oud and musk base.
