Youth-Dew by Estée Lauder is an oriental-spicy perfume for women, launched in 1953. This iconic fragrance was created by perfumer Josephine Catapano and is still considered one of the classic and deeply sensual scents. Youth-Dew is rich in spicy, woody and balsamic accords with a distinct oriental character.
In the head of the perfume we find a colorful blend of spices, aldehydes, floral notes of narcissus and lavender, refreshing orange and juicy peach, which are interestingly complemented by the unconventional accord of Coca-Cola and fresh bergamot.
The heart of the fragrance blossoms with another dose of spicy notes, especially clove and cinnamon, which blend with rich floral accords of rose, ylang-ylang, jasmine, lily of the valley, orchid and exotic cassia. This floral blend gives the fragrance an opulent and sophisticated character.
The base of the perfume is deep and warm, built on a combination of frankincense, tolubalsam, perubalsam, moss, amber, patchouli, vetiver, vanilla and musk, providing a long-lasting and sensual finish with an oriental touch. Youth-Dew is a fragrance full of warmth, sensuality and depth, ideal for women who like bold, spicy and woody fragrances with balsamic and sweet notes, perfect for evening wear and special occasions.
