Created by the talented perfumer Celine Barel, this modern and surprisingly layered composition builds an olfactory bridge between elegant freshness and a sensual, spicy-woody base. Spice D'Arno draws inspiration from the Tuscan landscape and the scents around the Arno River, which flows through historic Florence.
The fragrance opens with a lively, spicy-citrus accord, blending aromatic cardamom, resinous elemi, sparkling bergamot, juicy lemon and spicy pink pepper. This opening is vibrant, energetic and creates a fresh and sophisticated impression that hints at the depth to follow.
The heart of the composition is distinctly unconventional. It combines a dusty and slightly nutty note of bran, powdery iris, juicy orange, aromatic thyme and an elegant hint of leather. This centerpiece feels earthy, warm and intellectual at the same time - like a refined perfume with a subtly gourmand touch.
The base of the fragrance is rich and sensual: vanilla adds sweetness and softness, while myrrh brings a resinous depth. Cashmeran adds a creamy, almost textural softness and precious oud closes the perfume with a dark, woody and slightly smoky accord. In the end, this makes the fragrance feel rich, elegant and modern at the same time.
