Jupiter by Electimuss is an intense unisex perfume launched in 2020, formulated by perfumer Sofia Bardelli. The fragrance is named after the Roman god Jupiter - ruler of the heavens and storms, symbol of power, majesty and authority. And that's exactly what this composition is: dark, deep and rich, with an emphasis on precious woods, resins and a sensual base.
The fragrance opens with an intense blend of oud wood (agarwood) and incense that immediately evokes a sense of sacredness and monumentality. Spicy saffron adds a dry, earthy accent, while davana brings a sweetly herbaceous note with a hint of fruit. Resinous labdanum ties everything together, creating a warm, balsamic bridge to the heart of the fragrance.
The heart develops dry and earthy woody notes: robust patchouli, creamy sandalwood, dry cedar and smoky green vetiver. This combination is highly sophisticated and gives the fragrance an architectural texture reminiscent of an ancient temple carved from stone and wood.
The base of the fragrance is extremely sensual and warm. Ambrette (musk) adds a leathery softness, amber and musk provide long-lasting depth, while tonka bean and vanilla round out the perfume with a subtly sweet, soothing note. The finish is full of contrasts - earthy, balsamic, musky and gourmand smooth.
