The composition brings vibrant citrus and aromatic spices together with herbal notes and a sweeter fig accord. It moves from an invigorating citrus-spice opening through an aromatic heart to a deeper base of cedar, patchouli, vetiver and cypriol.
In the opening notes, juicy blood orange meets juniper berries, piquant pimento, lemon, Sicilian lemon and aromatic cardamom. The heart then reveals sweeter fig nectar, accompanied by lavender, geranium and clary sage. Here, the fruity note of fig contrasts with the aromatic herbs and the spice of the opening.
In the base, dry cedarwood intertwines with earthy patchouli and vetiver, joined by cypriol, also known as nagarmotha, with its dry, earthy-woody nuances. Together, these notes give the finish a more pronounced structure and reinforce the composition’s woody character.
