Choix Lumiere Du Desert is a unisex fragrance for women and men, launched in 2018. The composition was created by perfumer Luca Gritti. It opens with fresh lemon and grapefruit, accompanied by aromatic cardamom and incense. Sparkling citrus contrasts with warm spices and smoky, resinous incense, lending the opening a fresh, exotic yet mysterious character.
At the heart of the fragrance, distinctive cypriol (nagarmotha) unfolds alongside warm amber, cinnamon and coriander. Cypriol introduces a dry, earthy and subtly smoky-woody character, while cinnamon and coriander accentuate the composition’s spicy facet. Here, Lumiere Du Desert takes on a deeper oriental and spicy character, intertwining resinous warmth with darker woody accords.
The base of Choix Lumiere Du Desert is built around intense agarwood (oud), patchouli, oakmoss and musk. Oud gives the composition rich woody depth, patchouli and oakmoss add an earthy nuance, while musk softens the finish.
