Vanderbilt by Gloria Vanderbilt is an amber-floral fragrance for women that was launched in 1982. The fragrance opens with fresh and light notes of aldehydes, pineapple, orange blossom, lavender, green notes and bergamot that bring a sparkling and refreshing introduction. This beginning gives the fragrance an airy and vitality, ideal for everyday wear.
The middle notes form a classic floral heart with a combination of carnation, tuberose, ylang-ylang, iris root, jasmine and rose. These rich floral accords bring femininity and elegance to the fragrance, while tuberose and ylang-ylang add an exotic and intoxicating touch.
The base notes of the fragrance are deep and sensual, made up of a blend of vanilla, sandalwood, cinnamon, opoponax, musk, civet and vetiver. This finish gives the fragrance a long-lasting and warming character that leaves a subtle trace on the skin. The fragrance was created by Sophia Grojsman in 1982.
