The fragrance is named after the ancient city of Capua, which was known for its beauty, luxury and strategic importance in the Roman Empire. Like its historical predecessor, this perfume embodies strength, sophistication and warm elegance - a fragrance for those looking for a stylishly understated but distinctly refined woody composition.
The perfume opens with a fresh and resinous note of elemi, which has a slightly citrusy yet balsamic depth. This opening is clean and refreshing, yet uncompromisingly elegant - reminiscent of polished stone or the sun-filled air of an ancient city.
The middle notes are dominated by cedar wood, which develops here in all its fullness - dry, fresh, a little aromatic.
