The Derma Pen uses the physiological regeneration capabilities of the skin. The needles penetrate the skin, where they cause microtrauma. These trigger the skin's defence mechanism, which flushes out growth factors that stimulate skin cells to produce collagen, elastin and create new cells. The depth of penetration of the needles can be adjusted between 0.2 mm and 2.5 mm. We recommend using a maximum depth of 1 mm.
