This sophisticated perfume was created by perfumer Daniela (Roche) Andrier and became Prada's first men's perfume, following the successful women's version. The fragrance is characterized by its oriental composition, which builds on amber accords, and brings a modern interpretation of classic masculine fragrances.

The composition of the perfume is divided into four basic accords. The main oriental accord is a complex blend of ambergris, vanilla, labdanum, tonka bean and patchouli, which adds depth and richness to the fragrance. The second accord, fougère, brings an aromatic and subtly soapy quality with notes of geranium, vetiver, orange blossom and myrrh. The cologne chord is at the top of the composition and brings freshness with bergamot, mandarin, neroli and cardamom. Finally, the leather accord in the base of the perfume combines leather, saffron and sandalwood, giving the fragrance a masculine yet subtle character.

Miuccia Prada, the granddaughter of the brand's founder, was personally involved in the creation of this fragrance. She has expressed that when creating the perfume, she tried to imagine what she would like if she were a man. The result is an elegant and non-aggressive fragrance that brings a new take on classic oriental perfumes, enriched with subtle notes of leather and ambergris.
